Before by Nicola Marsh

Hey folks,

This is a new YA from my fellow author Nicola Marsh.

Good girls finish last? Screw that.

Being a small town girl isn’t so bad. Unless Mom’s the town joke and I’ve spent
my entire life shying away from her flamboyance. College in Las Vegas should be
so much cooler. But it’s not. Bad things happen there. Real bad.

So when my big brother Reid offers me an all-expenses paid vacation to Australia
for a month, I am so there. Discounting the deadly snakes on the outback cattle
station, I should be safe. Until I meet Jack.

Jack defines bad boy and then some. And the guy can cook. He’s big, buffed,
bronzed, and hotter than any guy I’ve ever met. And his sexy Aussie accent makes
me melt.

But he’s my brother’s new bestie and he lives on the other side of the world.
There’s no future for us.

Is there?

Nina Harrington’s Recipe For Disaster

One of my favourite author friends is hanging out with me today….welcome Nina Harrington! Over to you…..

What flavour would you like your Romance?
The world of romantic fiction is famous for having so many wonderful genres and subgenres. From regency to paranormal, contemporary to futuristic, erotic to inspirational, every romance reader can find something that appeals to them.

But that can cause a problem when publishers and booksellers have to slot your books into a particular publishing genre box so that readers can find them. I find that this is particular troublesome for the many different type of romantic fiction which include a mystery or suspense twist.

For example; What does the term romantic mystery mean to you?

For me, romantic mystery describes a romance with the added twist of a mystery subplot. These are not romantic suspense stories with serial killers or dark thriller plots. Far from it, many contemporary romantic mysteries are light hearted entertainment from terrific authors such as Stephanie Bond, Gemma Halliday, Rachel Gibson and so many others. The reader has to study the back blurb before realising that the mystery element has been threaded through the book to add just that little strand of extra spice and conflict to the romance.

But one thing is certain – this genre provides great fun for the reader.

So how could I resist writing one?

‘Recipe for Disaster’ is a fun contemporary romance with a mystery twist, starring a feisty heroine and a hot Italian bad boy lawyer. I hope that you enjoy it!

Take one estranged Italian family,
A celebrity chef cousin,
Add a secret inheritance,
A pinch of family rivalry,
And a red hot hunk for taste.
Mix and simmer until boiling point!

Recipe_Disaster_finalBunty Brannigan knew turning thirty would be tough, but she never expected her life would unravel before the candles on her cake had been blown out…But before Bunty can say Mozzarella she discovers that she is in line to inherit controlling shares in the Caruso family business and someone has attacked her charming celebrity chef cousin Luca in her deli.
